Steering group

Together with Severn Trent, ReGenerate created the Midlands Employment Alliance, a coalition of HR and talent leaders from major companies committed to dismantling barriers to employment.

Current members include: Severn Trent, Wincanton, Pertemps, Kier, Cadent, Culina Group, Amazon, Balfour Beatty VINCI, Unipart, Timpson, Birmingham Airport, PET-Xi, EY Foundation, Greene King.

What we do

The Steering Group focuses on the following key activities:

Creating employment opportunities.

We design and implement programs that create meaningful job opportunities for marginalised groups.

Building Partnerships.

We collaborate with employers, charities, social enterprises, and local authorities to create a supportive ecosystem for inclusive recruitment.

Advocating for policy change.

We engage with government officials and policymakers to advocate for policies that remove blockers and support purpose-driven recruitment models.

Providing resources and training.

We offer resources and training to employers on how to effectively hire and support individuals from marginalised backgrounds.

Measuring impact.

We continually assess the impact of our initiatives to ensure they are meeting their goals and to identify areas for improvement.

Through the work of the Alliance, ReGenerate identifies areas where government support would have a multiplier effect and works to educate and inform policy makers.
